After spending years mastering your energy harvesting technology, it's finally time to test it out in the open, and become the most powerful wizard in the world! And what great targets these angry creatures make! 

It seems that this technology comes at a price, though... Every pursuit of power must come with a side effect, a Curse if you will. Such is the world of Equivalent Exchange.

Yes, this is a Fullmetal Alchemist reference.

Obviously inspired by the great bullet hell games like Vampire Survivors and 20 Minutes Until Dawn.

All assets are done by me, and only me. No AI was used at any point in the process.

The font I'm using is the free-to-use Pixelify Sans. Yes, I know it doesn't look perfect, but I didn't have time to make a better one.

The VST I'm using for the (Fakebit) chiptune is the free FAMISYNTH by mu-station (with a bit of post-processing). Try it out yourself!

This game uses the resurrect-32 colour palette! A very well-made palette which accommodates for many situations.

Controls: 

WASD to move,

Space to dash,

Point and click to shoot

Esc to quit game.

Instructions for use:

Download the zip file (x86_64 if you're using a normal Windows computer) and extract its contents. Then, run the exe file "Equivalent Exchange.exe" in the new directory.

Sorry if it doesn't work on mac/linux, I've never tested those builds.
